Bethel Baptist Church was organized in 1780 and admitted to the Charleston Baptist Association in 1782. Our mother church is High Hills of the Santee Baptist Church in Stateburg, SC (near Shaw AFB).

 

That means, for more than 244 years, Bethel Baptist Church has been impacting the Privateer and Lakewood communities of Sumter County with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
