Rev. Chris M. Moore
Lead Pastor
A native of Sumter, SC. Chris graduated from Covington Theological Seminary with a Bachelor of Ministry in the summer of 2014. Since August 2012, he has served in various ministries throughout Sumter and the surrounding area.
Chris has a heart for seeing people grow in their knowledge and understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is married to Kyndal. They have three children, Kaydee and twin boys, Caleb and Chandler.
Chris enjoys the great outdoors, hanging in his hammock, and listening to all genres of music.

Rev. Austin Hilbish
Associate Pastor of Family & Student Ministries
Austin grew up in Lexington, SC, and graduated from Lexington High School.
In 2012, he became a student at Anderson University pursuing a degree in Kinesiology — the study of the mechanics of body movements. It was there he finally surrendered his life to the call of ministry and switched majors.
He graduated from Anderson in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Student Ministry. He then went on to Southwestern Theological Seminary in 2017 where he graduated in 2020 with a Master of Arts in Family Ministry.
Austin is married to his high school sweetheart Kristen and they have two children, Reid and Rayna Rose.
Together they have a love for building relationships and serving the lost through various ministry and mission opportunities.
Austin has served at churches in North and South Carolina before arriving at Bethel in 2018.
