A native of Sumter, SC. Pastor Chris spent 20+ years in some form of Marketing and Communications before entering ministry full time in 2022. He worked for The Sumter Item, Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital and Chick-fil-A Sumter along with owning his own photography and marketing businesses.

In October 2010, Chris dedicated his life to Christ and began taking next steps to include going back to school. Then in August 2012, he began serving in a variety of part-time roles for several churches and ministries throughout the area while working full-time.

​

In March 2021, Pastor Chris started filling the pulpit at Bethel Baptist Church while we looked for our next pastor. Then in June 2022, he surrendered to full-time ministry and became the next Lead Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church. 

He is married to his high school sweetheart Kyndal, and they have three children, Kaydee, along with twin boys, Caleb and Chandler.

Pastor Chris has a heart for seeing people grow in their knowledge and understanding of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His purpose statement is be an authentic shepherd-leader who invites people to connect with their God-given purpose and to encourage them along their life-changing journey with Him.

He enjoys being outside, hanging in his hammock or just relaxing and listening to music.
